Faulty Goods
Should an item received be faulty, please let
us know and we will replace the item with a tested replacement item,
or issue you with a refund. All returns must be notified within
7 days of receipt of the goods and you will at that point be allocated
a returns number. Please enclose a covering letter with the returns
number, your name and address and whether you would like an exchange
or refund of the item. If you are requesting a refund and your payment
was made on a card, also include your card details as we do not
keep these on record. When we receive the returned goods we will
at that point credit your account with the full amount.
The returned goods will be tested and if found to be faulty return postage will be refunded, if found to be working the return will be at the customers expense.
Errors In Ordering
When placing an order for a battery you find
that it is not the required battery for your equipment, you can
send the battery back to us and we will exchange the battery. The
battery however, must be in a resalable condition, i.e. the packaging
must be fully in tact and the battery itself must have suffered
no damage. You must notify us of this error within 7 days of receipt
of the battery and we will allocate you a returns number. You must
also include a covering letter with the returns number and your
name and address. This does not affect the consumer's cancellation
rights under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000.
Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations
2000
You have a 7 day period starting the day after
taking delivery of the goods, to cancel your order. It is your responsibility
to return the unwanted goods to us at your own expense. All refunds
will be made within 30 days of the cancellation, however, should
the goods not be received by us then a deduction will be made from
the refund to cover the cost of collecting the goods. After taking
delivery of the goods, if you wish to cancel your order, they must
be returned to us in an unopened resalable condition. If any goods
are not in stock, you will be contacted and can advise us if you
wish to cancel, take an alternative or wait for stock. You will
be sent an e-mail with written confirmation of your order when placing
the order on-line.
